The native utility and the optional web workspace are separate.
Your native captures stay on your Mac
Captures saves screenshots and readable app context in local History and writes the capture bundle to the macOS pasteboard. It does not automatically upload or sync that history to this website. The native app needs no account.
Captures asks macOS for the permissions needed to capture app content and monitor your chosen shortcut. You control those permissions in System Settings. Screenshots and readable context can contain sensitive information; review them before sharing.
You choose what to share
Pasting a capture, or using a target configured for automatic paste, sends that content to the destination you choose. That app or service has its own data practices. You can review, copy, reveal, or delete captures from local History.
This website
The interactive landing demo uses a sample image from our app recording. It does not capture your screen, read your clipboard, or write to it.
Visiting the website makes normal requests to our hosting and asset providers. Website analytics may be enabled separately from the native utility. Signing in uses an authentication service, and the optional web workspace can store content you explicitly submit to it. It does not receive your native History automatically.
